Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Upon clicking the start button in the launcher my game will go to launch then proceeds to launch the game. The game goes into "Not Responding" and after a little while it will go back to the launcher with this error code.

Thank you for your reply and promptly pointing me to the workaround.

After moving the resource packs out of the game folder it now launches properly.
