Name plate is inside baby villager's head

I was experimenting with a village design in singleplayer, naming all the villagers with their career and a number (with /entitydata). When I named baby villagers, I noticed that their name was displayed incorrectly. The name inside their head instead of on top of it. All other mobs don't have this problem (as far as I know).
