[MC-7304] Minecraft not opening

When I open Minecraft, I use my log-in username and password, and then when I press log-in, the window closes randomly. Is this happening to anyone else???

You are going to have to post more info here. What is your system configuration (goes in the Environment section), such as operating system, java version. Do you have any mods/hd textures installed?

are you sure you have a 'minecraft.jar' in your .minecraft/bin?

go open up the Minecraft Launcher and press the 'options' button. that will show you a link to the minecraft files and folders. look inside the /bin folder and see if you can find a 'minecraft.jar'

Minecraft works on my other 32 bit Dell with Windows XP and Java version 7 update 10.
