Slime mob not effected by the jump potion effect

Expected Slime mob to jump at intended height.

Slime mob jumped at normal height as if the effect was not present although the particles appear at the slime indicating it is under the jump boost effect.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the command "/summon Slime ~ ~1 ~ {ActiveEffects:[{Id:8,Amplifier:12,Duration:1000000}]}"
OR
1. Find a slime, acquire splash potion of leaping, throw the potion at the slime.

Rolling back to 1.7.2
Running the same command summons a slime mob that jumps at the intended height.
