Minecraft crashes on each startup due to a texture glitch

What I expected to happen was...:
I just downloaded minecraft for the first time on my current computer. I have downloaded it on this computer before. i expected to install and play normally.

What actually happened was...:
what happened was that my game crashed on startup claiming i should use a different resource pack. I have none downloaded since this is my first startup. It continued to have this error no matter how many times i tried and reinstalled the game.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download minecraft
2. install
3. click play
4. watch minecraft 1.8 not respond
5. witness crash report

note: I have tried allocating more ram and it claims the same thing. my computer has more than enough ram to run mc and i dont know what to do.

Doesn't appear to be a texture glitch with the error logs provided. It appears your computer doesn't meet the requirements to run Twitch, which can be found here: https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/1374789-twitch-integration-in-minecraft

@Sonic I meet the requirements for twitch. I had even updated my drivers. Again I got another error.

Try turning off the resource pack, or use one with a smaller resolution.

There is no resource pack. its all default. newly installed.

In that case your computer is not powerful enough to run the current version of Minecraft.

Definitely a technical problem not caused by Minecraft.
