I can't join server because the file fireball.ogg does not exist. I get this warning in the log file: File minecraft:sounds/mob/ghast/fireball.ogg does not exist, cannot add it to event minecraft:item.fireCharge.use. can anbody help me ?

This is already a confirmed bug. Dupe of MC-64484
It is a duplicate of MC-64484, however that bug has nothing to do with being unable to connect to servers.

Delete your 1.8 profile and re-download.
