There are no female townspeople in Minecraft, at all, in any version.
This is silly, and frankly, inexcusable. Minecraft is one of the very few games enjoyed almost equally by both sexes, and should strive to be less gender-biased. It would not be difficult at all. Provide an alternate skin occurring at 50%.
It makes the spontaneous generation of baby townspeople less magical too. 🙂
