I was mining blocks underground and when mining some random blocks, the game does some fast blinking(like when you can see lava come up when mining the block that has a graphics glitch) when lava comes up far away from the player.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
Can you try a couple different things: turn off mipmapping in the video settings, and see if it happens without the resource pack you have as well.
Yes it does happen when mipmap levels are off as well. And as for the texture pack (I did it without and it doesn't do it but when i do it with it, it does it.) Maybe the texture pack is the issue?
I suppose it could be an issue with the pack. That or your graphics drivers are bugging up. You could test another pack with similar resolution to see.
I just mined after posting the comment and it seems without the texture pack it also does it. I just mined a block and it does a see through sort of thing.
