Debug World Glitch

I went into a Debug World to test out a Resource Pack I'm making, knowing it had every block state in it. I also knew I could go into Creative Mode, break some of the blocks, and listen to the sounds so I could make my Resource Pack's sounds better. I broke many blocks, and knowing they regenerate right after; didn't worry. Then I broke a pressure plate, and I experienced major lag. This issue is a duplicate of MC-58898. It has been linked to the original bugreport.
Please search before reporting any bugs, as it's likely that one exists already.

To summarize how it can be reproduced:

  • Open Minecraft.

  • Create a new Debug Mode world.

  • Break a pressure plate and lag out to the point where you'll have to force quit Minecraft.

I do not know what other blocks do this. I only know the pressure plate does.
