whenever a player is in or around the ocean monument for a period of time, all players on the server experience large delay when placing/destroying blocks and attacking (extremely frustrating when fighting guardians). I'm not sure what exactly is causing the lag. It looks similar to block lag but I have a really good ping (less than 10)

Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w45a or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Just saying, even large minecraft servers don't use more than 4 GBs of RAM...
