Extremely Laggy Chunk Loading in Certain Areas

When playing in any world, multiplayer or singleplayer, chunk loading is generally very laggy and stuttery. This happens mostly when walking through any biome with lots of trees for some odd reason, and is significantly less when walking through biomes with little to no trees. Even after installing mods such as optifine and using fastest graphics it still occurs.
