Mobs, tested on Endermites and zombies specifically, when copied using an MCEdit schematic, will not die when /kill is used on them.
I started by exporting a schematic in MCEdit 0.1.8build799 with several endermites in it. I then copied the structure a short distance away, and tried to /kill the endermites. The original mobs died, and the MCEdited in mobs didn't, with the error code "That entity cannot be found."
This only happened with the baby zombies and endermites; adult zombies worked fine.
NOTE: I'm aware this is most likely an MCEdit bug, but I don't know for sure.

Please try the latest version of mcedit here: https://khroki.github.io/MCEdit-Unified/ . If it works then the issue was probably fixed in a previous mcedit version.
