/clone /fill of tile entity (TE) over a TE renders the old TE

What I expected to happen:
Using /clone /fill or /setblock will replace one block with Tie Entity (TE) for a new block with TE.

What did happened:
The Block was replaced and could be interacted with according to the new TE. However the previous/original textures of the block that was to be replaced would render.

Picture shows:
An ender chest replaced with a normal chest, yet the ender chest still displays.

Additional Info:
This happens with any TE so signs, skulls, trapped chest, banners so on. After logging out and back in the block will render correctly.

Seems to work fine for me.

Can anyone else reproduce this? I can't.

Fill and clone don't support tile entities, see comments in MC-61864

Looks like a duplicate of MC-82703. The reporter probably did not meant by "replace" the replace mode of /fill.
