[MC-77186] New Launcher - Chat Formatting Issue

Just wanted to check in to see if Mojang is aware of the new launcher breaking some ASCII characters: http://prntscr.com/5ztse0

This is happening on all servers such as Desteria, Mineplex, and more.

Environment

Java Version 8 Update 31 (Latest version I believe)
Minecraft Launcher 1.6.11 (Latest version as well)
