Command Inconsistancy

When

/execute @a ~ ~ ~ /clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~

is typed into a commandblock, it fails to execute the clone, but when it, or one of the 2 parts is put in the chatbox, it works just fine.

it also works just fine in either with both parts separately.
I.E.

/execute @a ~ ~ ~ /say hi

or with

/clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~

I can't reproduce this in Minecraft 1.8.2-pre6, cloning via commandblock is working fine, cloning via players chat works also fine.

I can get it when I clone from the command bock, and I can get it when I clone from the player, but I can't get It when I reach the player through the command block (I.E. the /execute @a ~ ~ ~ as the command block).

You didn't understood what I said. What I said was that when doing your command from (see description) a command block (this command:: /execute @a ~ ~ ~ /clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~) it creates the clone above every player. When doing (this command:: /execute @a ~ ~ ~ /clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~) from a player it also clones above every player. (Tested this with 3 other players on a server)

Hmm, that is strange, I am in singlplayer 1.8.2-pre6, vanilla and when I run the command on a command block I get the error message

[18:33:21] Failed to execute '/clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~' as SuperAudric

You can look so see If I Somehow misstyped the thing but that's Copy pasted from the command block
and this is the command copy pasted from the command block

/execute @a ~ ~ ~ /clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~

Edit; I have now even tried doing it on another world, and it still fails

Strange, very strange.

[19:00:50] 125 blocks cloned

and that is when I execute '/execute @a ~ ~ ~ /clone ~ 0 ~ ~ 124 ~ ~ 128 ~'. This is singleplayer 1.8.2-pre6.

Alright I found the problem, thank you, I had an extra space on one of my '~'s It seems to be working just fine now. How do I set the problem to [resolved]?

for some reason though it seems not to care about the whightspace when it was in the chat window
it also collapses whightspace in this comment box, so you couldn't see my mistake.

Enclose commands with {code} tags, then the whitespaces won't be collapsed.
