Water flowing on north and west edges of dirt

By the screenshot I got (sorry, I am horrible at screenshoting), it is clearly visible that in the north and west submerged edges of dirt there appears an flowing water animation, just like that which appears in glass (the latter one which seems already fixed), but more boring.

What was expected:

The dirt edges show an blueish version of the texture, transluced by the water.

What happened actually:

The northwestern edges shown an flowing water animation, with no trace of the dirt's texture (completely obfuscated by the water's blue).

Note:
Also I did just noted it when I was swimming in the water, going to an (very) thin river's northwestern "shore", which means it might have been passed hidden throughout even the most eye-peeled people.

C'mon, how did you looked a tiny debug? Also yes, it has little mods, it's 11, not 52. Probably too tiny to see pretty well. I don't know why the images attached get so tiny.

This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modified or 3rd party client, server, or launcher.

  • Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.

  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.

  • This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded Minecraft; Bukkit, Forge, Optifine, or any other modded system invalidates your ticket, unless it can be shown to happen in Vanilla.

  • Additionally, if you have problems on large-scale modded servers, please report it to their site. It's probably not a bug in Vanilla Minecraft.

I tested in vanilla 1.8.1 and I have confirmed it. Happens on northwest edges of most transparent submerged blocks (seems like Optifine actually 'fix' it so it only shows in dirt & farmland).

Dlawso the Really Lucky Rabbit

Now that you have tested it in vanilla, is the dirt tilled (farmland)?

Gustavo Ramos Rehermann

One is, the other not. I know, I'm horrible at screenshoting.
PS: How do I report an issue with Prelude of the Chambered (another Notch game)?
