hopper does not input raw material in a furnace e.g. iron ore, raw porkchop and clay

I'm perfectly able to put raw porkchops and clay into a hopper going into a furnace. Make sure the hopper isn't powered.

I don't know what is wrong with my minecraft then because i tried it again and made sure that it was not powered but it still world not work. 😞

Are you sure you're putting it in from the right side? Fuel from the side, materials from the top, output from the bottom.
