In Minecraft, i was making a gate that opens, but when i used pistons, they did not push. I tried so many things but nothing happened.

Pistons arent working.

I expected them to push but they didnt.
Intead they did smoke and red stuff, it should push the block.

It spit out smoke and red stuff, i looked online and there was nothing on it.
The red stuff and the smoke only spit out every 1 min or 2.

Look at the code for the 1.8.3 update and see if pistons are able to move.

2. See if pistons are able to move.
3. Try to fix it and if Mojang wants, make a new update called 1.8.3F (fixed)
