[MC-78165] Minecraft won't go to start up menu in game when I hit play in launcher

When I try and start up Minecraft in the llauncher I get already playing then play again it will not go to the start up menu in game at all please help me resolve this problem in the following image is what I get when I try to start up Minecraft
