gamemode overlapping into nether and end when in radius of overworld spawn

Just want to thank you first for taking the time to view this report.

We have set up a clock to protect the server spawn, by changing the gamemode of the user to adventure when in the radius.

radius = 451 blocks respectively.

ISSUE: This switch is overlapping into our nether world and endworld, to which we do not want to protect. I have not found undocumented "Target Selector Variables" that would exclude those worlds from the switch.

My question or report is: Is it supposed to overlap like this, and is or will there ever be a way to exclude those worlds when we use a radius on command.

NOTE:I understand this may be intended, and only hope we can even get a simple solution here, as i have not found one anywhere else
