RandomTickSpeed command is cr@#king up my world...

I was planting some crops and I wanted to let them grow as fast as possible so I put the RandomTickSpeed to about 10000 (a lot, I know). When I was done planting all the crops I wanted to set the RandomTickSpeed back to the default settings. When I was trying that, I noticed that the Tab-button didn't work, so I typed the whole command. When I had done that I fought that the RandomTickSpeed would go back to normal but it didn't. Could someone PLEASE help me!!!

You should not set randomTickSpeed to a too high value else the the internal Minecraft server stops responding because it is overloaded. What you are describing sounds pretty much like that. The client still work, so you can walk,... but the server stops responding (TAB completion doesn't work anymore). You can try setting it back to 3 (default value) but you might have to wait some time. Else you can use programs like the "NBT Explorer" or "MCEdit" to edit the level.dat file in your world folder and change there the value back to 3.
