Glitch with breeding rabbits

In Minecraft 1.8.3 There is a glitch in place where if you feed rabbits carrots, they will activate "love mode" like they should, but won't do anything, hearts appear, but they don't breed, so you can pull up anything else in your inventory and they will suddenly go and breed, i tried it again, and the same thing, the only breed after an inventory update. Just a small, strange, minor glitch, but still a little annoying, thanks, M4.
