Player can obtain item with count 0

Please provide exact steps how to reproduce.
I cannot see how to produce an item with count = 0.

I place a chest empty with a tnt near of it.
In the chest, i place my item.
Then i active tnt and i place my cursor on chest's item, whereas i'm spamming touch [1].

If i m synchro, after explosion, i obtain in my inventory the item with count 0, and the chest's item drop on the ground.

• 1.8.4 However the Summary should get changed to "Player can obtain item with count 0" or something similar as the duplication part of it seems to be fixed in 1.8.4

• 1.8.6
  Note: I am pretty sure there was already another report about this exact method

How to reproduce:

1. Place a chest and put the item you want to obtain with count of 0 in the first slot

2. Place TNT next to the chest

3. Empty the first slot of your hotbar

4. Ignite the TNT and open the chest

5. Now hover over the item and spam the "1" key

You will eventually end up with the item with count 0

Cannot reproduce anymore but please recheck

Yes, this was mostly fixed a few weeks ago.

Can I still get no items from a cheated-in chest? Because I love goofing around with this.

Yes, but a lot of inventory interaction will destroy 0-stacks.
