Sound fails after audio device reconnect

So whenever I disconnect my headphones, and then reconnect the headphones, Minecraft sound fails to work unless I either restart the game or switch resource packs, which both take too much time. This has been apparent on all versions. This is also the same for all audio devices I have used. Please get back to this and if there is a way, hopefully fix the bug, Thanks.
