Compass changes where it points when returning from the nether.

This all takes place on the seed -536706661884643682. The compass points to the northwest corner of 208, 216 (X, Z), as shown by the first picture. Then when I go to the nether and return it points to the northwest corner of 8, 8 (X, Z). This is shown with the second picture. Also, I was trying to find spawn chunks in my world (I was playing on this in survival) and it appeared that items were not de-spawning in either area after being in the Nether for 5 minutes suggesting the chunks were not staying loaded. I did however put the seed into a third party program (AMIDST) and it said that the first location (208, 216) is the spawn. Going to the title screen and opening up the world again makes the compass point to the first location (208, 216). If I die in the world the compass points to the first location (208, 216) as well.
