------
Minecraft 1.8.0 and previous versions work just fine. The file number changes with each attempt to re-launch again.

yes, please show me where on the support center it is solved, because I have never been able to find the solution.
Also? Downloading the installer? Helps if it was a different version I downloaded and installed 2 hours previously to the issue being submitted.
Also the Java installations? Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest versions downloaded from Oracle 2 HOURS PREVIOUS.
So yeah. I think it's a bug, maybe not in the launcher, but it's a bug. If the file name being reported wouldn't be changing every launch attempt, then I'd agree.
Also, the directory being called on contains no files whatsoever.
[...]mp\jna\jna7229098749622760730.dll: Access is denied
The operating system denies access. Minecraft needs access.
Can't enter a house if the door is locked.

Firstly, I don't use IRC, and nor do I ever care to. If this is my only solution, then Support needs to be critically re-assessed. I paid for this product, and the support center has offered NO support on this.
In reading other duplicates of this issue, it's been stated that they are happening on modded games. This is a completely un-modded game, and with a new world created after a COMPLETE rip and reinstall, 1.8.4 worked for the first run JUST FINE. When I saved the game and quit out, the error returned on restart.
Currently, the only version of Java installed, after a complete rip and cleaning, is the version provided via the client install.
I suppose I can't grasp how the java provided is being denied access by the very software that installed it specifically for it's use.
If this is such a simple solution, how hard is it for someone to write it up and put it in the FAQ/Common Problem area? If someone on IRC can copy a script to
solve the solution, it shouldn't be that much harder to publish it.
This is a bigger problem, and it needs to be addressed on the Support center as opposed to being rudely told that it's "not a problem" with the client, when it seems to be.
This is an access rights problems, may be caused by a broken Java installation. Download & install the Minecraft Installer from https://minecraft.net/download
