Title screen manipulative crash

A manipulative crash happened to me while recording a video to show what updated in Minecraft 1.8.7. I accidentally pressed quit to title and Esc in a very quick manner and the game went to the title screen. Then, the in-game menu came up, and I was confused. I selected "Achievements", and then the game crashed. It doesn't always work, sometimes, it does nothing, and sometimes it brings you to the title screen, and pressing a button crashes the game.
Crash Report is as follows:

Your Java version is out of date! Please update your Java to the latest version: http://www.java.com/en/download/.

  • When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.

Please report if the issue persists with the latest Java version.
