Animals losing interest in wheat, seeds, etc. when trying to get them to follow you

I've been having this issue with animals where they don't seem to respond well to any of the food you hold in front of them. When I attempt to bring animals to my house I seem to have to move really slowly just so that they'll keep interest and follow me to my place. If I move too quickly the animal will lose interest very quickly and when trying to lure them back with food they kind of just sit there paused in their place for a few seconds. Then finally they'll realize that I'm holding the item they love to follow. This bug has been doing on a long time and I really hope it gets fixed. It's really the only bug the really really bothers me.
