There are teleport-player commands, and there is a teleport-all-entity command, but no individual-entity teleportation!!!

I was expecting to open a command block, and be able to teleport whatever, and ONLY whatever steps on the pressure plate.
Instead, I found that it only teleports individual players, and it can teleport "all entities" with the "targets" that come listed in the command block interface.
But what I cannot find, is the target to teleport INDIVIDUAL MOBS, who power a command block with a pressure plate.
Is that command hidden or What?
Steps
1) Open a creative mode world
2) Give yourself a command block
3) With the /tp command, there is no "individual mobs" tp openly available!
