[MC-81629] error downloading server texture pack

i was trying to download a server resource pack and an error saying: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Parameter 'directory' is not a directory after searching of the internet i found a post on bugs.mojang that said that i needed to add a file called server-texture-packs in .mincraft but the bug is still occoring

You should create a directory with that name, not a file. If that still doesn't work, please add further information to the linked ticket. Resolving as duplicate.

i ment to say i created that folder with that name but it it still doesnt work
