[MC-82660] MC-929 is back in 1.8.7 / Sugarcane can be placed in water

I was making a sugarcane farm and i accidentally placed a sugar cane in the water, and it stayed there.

it's not, it was from 1.4 and this is in 1.8 it has returned

I don't understand what you mean. The behaviour you describe is intended, as indicated in the other report. It is clearly marked as Working as Intended.
