Crash when paused or opened inventory

When I pause the game, or open the inventory, my computer activates Mission Control, and the window goes to the default dirt texture, then brings up the following error: (This happens in the latest 1.3 version, 1.4.1, 1.4.2, but not the 1.4 snapshot)

I can confirm I have exactly the same problem. I'm not sure if it's actually related to Mission Control. Any keyboard shortcut I try while playing the game causes it to crash.

This was happening on a multiplayer game so I created a single player, then went back to the multiplayer and it worked.

But it's still extremely annoying to have it crash so much.

This issue duplicates MC-658. It's not a Minecraft issue, it's an issue of LWJGL. In the linked ticket is a solution.

I was experiencing the problem that Tiago had. I read the stack trace and saw the error was happening when the program is trying to take control of the mouse pointer. I was able to solve the problem (until there's a bug fix, hopefully) by doing these things before launching minecraft:

*disable any input devices that you will not be using, such as wireless trackpads etc. the trackpad on the laptop itself is fine.
*if your mouse is plugged into a usb port, unplug it – wait a second – and plug it back in. If you're using a bluetooth mouse, disconnect it and reconnect it however you wanna do that.
*launch minecraft

my setup: 1 yr old macbook & a 26" monitor, usb keyboard, usb mouse, wireless "magic" trackpad (which I must disable before launch, otherwise crash)
