End gateway block spawns colored beacon beams in some conditions.

When you /setblock the End gateway, it places the block and also purple colored beacon beams that disappear after few seconds.

When trying to get into the block, there's a yellow beacon beam inside. After
that, you get out of it, and there are two yellow colored beacon beams, one
glowing from top side and second from bottom side.
