Black Lines in The End

I was playing in the end on this recent update to play around. However, there were black lines on each corner of the end island. I do not know if this is a glitch or if it is my render distance (set at 4 at the time). They just seemed really annoying to have them there. Also I have never noticed this is any earlier versions.
