The stairs have no texture on the top side as you might see on the screenshot. The same thing as heads, no texture on side. (Remember, You will only see this on the hotbar.)

MC-82828 is posted for the same issue. If you can find a way to reproduce the bug that would be really helpful, as that is missing so far 🙂
According to MC-82828, this should be fixed in the next snapshot.
