Similar to MC-7896. A TNT Minecart pushed into lava will "explode", showing the explosion effect. However, it drops the TNT and Minecart, and no damage is done from the explosion to the player or the world. Tested in both Survival and Creative.

TNT doesn't do any block damage when exploding in lava or water.

You aren't supposed to take TNT damage on peaceful, are you sure that you aren't on it?

Yeah, I was on normal when I tested on survival mode. And it does do damage to blocks in lava. I checked by puting normal TNT in the lava shortly after, which produced the new screenshot I posted.
