Maps do not work properly in the offhand slot

In the offhand slot, only default size maps are able to be explored. Other map sizes display player location, but do not allow new territory to be explored and recorded on the map.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a map, and upgrade it at least once
2. Hold the map in the offhand slot
3. Go to an unrecorded area of the map, and notice how the new territory does not show on the map
