Leaving the End makes all entities in Overworld disappear

If I leave the End and enter the Overworld, all entities in the Overworld disappear. I've noticed that if another player is already in the Overworld when leaving the End, the entities stay, but if there are no other players in the Overworld, entities will disappear when leaving the End.
