vanilla minecraft wont launch

im sure this is a one off and it only does not work for me. it worked just fine before updating to win 10. the problem is that any minecraft version that it needs to download or does so automaticly(all vanilla versions) wont get past the text on the button "launching...". the game output thingy wont even apear. the modded versions like optifine wont have to download(for obvious reasons) and work perfectly fine. i have trying everything, from reinstaling launcher through updating java to even importing the .jar from linux(where it works on my pc). the jar is the same i think because it in the versions folder was the exact size as the one imported from linux. it would be awesome if someone would help me and get the snapshots up and running. thanks!
