The world had been created and played a few times.
When I entered single player and loaded the world up, I fell through all blocks and came to rest just below level 0 (see the screen shot).
When I pressed "save and exit", and reloaded the world, it worked correctly.
I have created a new bug report because similar issues seem to be with multiplayer, and have been marked as resolved.

Is this still an issue in 15w44b? If so, please explain the issue in detail and provide steps to reproduce it.

Sorry redstonehelper, I haven't been able to reproduce the problem at all. It didn't happen again in Worly Worldy.
The problem does seem similar to MC 84681, so you could try logging out while you have a block inside you.

Putting it on "Cannot reproduce".

Bad news... This bug has just happened again in 15w47c. See the new screen shot.
I'm still unable to recreate the bug on demand.
The world is too large to attach here.
64bit windows 8.1

The links are a little bit messed up as well as the resolution

Hi Marcono1234. I added just one image tonight.
Can you tell me what the resolution problem is please? The image appears ok for me here - on two computers.
I'll try to fix it and upload a new version (not tonight though, I'm off to bed now!).

See MC-86947.

Thanks redstonehelper. Double-clicking the icon does cause this problem.
