Shields Change Color

I created a lime green shield. When I first crafted it, it had 170/180 durability. I then tested the shield on a skeleton. A custom shield was in my off hand and the lime shield in my main hand. Every time the skeleton shot me, the lime green shield changed colors. I have made a video here showing it; however, I had to significantly shorten it due to your 10.00 MB maximum upload. Hopefully this gives you a good enough look.
