[MC-86693] "A" and "X" Key do not work in chat

When pressing "X" while in chat it does not work. When pressing "A" while in chat it selects all text.

No I checked that and that was not the issue.

Never mind tried to recreate that but I guess it was only stuck in Minecraft.

Ctrl-X is cut. Ctrl-A is select all text. It's Cmd if on a Mac, but that's the problem.

Sad Ghoster: This happens to me too. The cmd key does get stuck, but I'm not sure under which circumstances. Playing with fn/ctrl/cmd/alt a little usually fixes it.
