[MC-872] minecraft crashes when i try to open it / java.lang.IllegalStateException: Function is not supported

Update your graphics card drivers following these instructions: Updating Graphics Card Drivers.

Do not use Windows Update or Device Manager - Microsoft doesn't install OpenGL, they promote DirectX.

If that all won't help, please use the Mojang Support Center.
