[MC-87349] When I re-loaded a saved game stairs where missing

When I re-loaded a saved game I had put cobble stone stairs in each gap as seen on the screenshot. Checked and it is not that they are invisible they just did not re-load in with the saved file. Can create new cobble stairs and place them but not sure why the original ones went.

Just tried replacing the stairs and saving then re-loading same thing happened the second time.

I have this same problem. Whenever I reload my game, my cobblestone stairs disappear.

My world has the same issue. Any time I reload the game, all cobblestone stairs disappear.

In SMP with my friend, only the person who placed the block could see or interact with the cobblestone stairs. It caused lighting errors and the person who couldn't see the block would get stuck and glitch out for a moment when they stepped into the place where they should be. The user who could not see the stairs could also place and break blocks through it.
