No idea how to reeplicate, just a gui bug
displayed 7 blocks after clearing a players inventory (And atempted to clear again and block ramained, but when attempted to use they all disapeared)

Could be MC-86455, unless you can reproduce your issue and pinpoint your ghost items on something else.
