While transferring items from chests into my personal inventory, if my inventory is full excess items simply disappear rather then fall on the ground and vise versa, items from my inventory into chests.

That happened to me too but I only said it about the chest in survival I lost lots of cobble stone and dirt from it when I was gonna use it for a farm and house
