Cannot Join LAN Worlds

My brother was hosting a LAN world for the latest snapshot and I couldn't see it on my multiplayer list so I hosted one and he couldn't see it on his list
So I thought it was his firewall (because it is very annoying) so he took it down and nothing happened same for me when I put mine down
