[MC-90023] Right click to equip armor in creative mode shortly makes the item disappear

To reproduce, put some armor in your hotbar and right click it outside your inventory. It disappears shortly.

Which would make the intended behavior "armor moves to armor slot" instead of "armor is copied to armor slot" - which really makes more sense to me. In that case, it's most likely MC-5415. Resolving.
