I know this bug has been reported before but I couldn't see how it was resolved.

Hi, Your reply to this support request is that this is a duplicated problem. I see that several people have reported this same problem. I read each of the reports and the only suggestion to resolve this is to check on administrator permissions, firewall issues. I have done all the above suggestions and this does not resolve it for me. The crash only occurs in Creative mode, Survival mode is fine with closing the Inventory window. Can you please provide more suggestions to help resolve this issue. Thank you!

This is bug report is not resolved. The problem still occurs! Can you please offer more support for this? I've looked at technical support, I haven't had any luck fixing this. My son saved his money for months to buy Minecraft and now can only play in Survival mode.... he wants to use Creative mode and can't. In reference to MC-3409 bug report, I have looked at everything and still can't fix our bug.

I am running a laptop on Windows 7, Java 7 64 bit. I don't believe I have any mods installed, I just installed the game fresh. Works fine in Survival mode. Updated my graphics driver. Am logged in as Administrator. Don't have a firewall blocking. Below is the crash log:
