Nether Resets; No portal spawn; 2 visual bugs

I went into my nether portal to get some xp from my blaze grinder, but my nether was deleted and reset. Also, there was no portal, and many other things happened. I spawned in the sky and fell at the start (although this may occasionally happen, but I'm not sure) because there was no portal. Then, although I had full diamond on, my armor bar would not show. I tried taking off my armor and putting it back on, but it would still not show (the feather falling of my boots still worked though). If I went to the overworld again this would stop happening. Also, when I jumped into lava to suicide, there was no fire on my screen, and again, it stopped happening in the overworld.
But it was all fine right? I went onto my backup (after backing up my back up of course) and the same thing happened. So RIP my nether.

In the picture you can see me taking fire damage with no fire on the screen. Also, there is no armor bar.
